I hope in the series finale they answer what happened to Marty's daughter that deals with this case, because the doll scene in an earlier episode resembles a lot of what the child sacrifice scene looked like on the video Rust found in Tuttle's home.

I could be wrong but I never saw any real connection to Marty's daughter. She did have the dolls arranged in a sexual manner but I only saw it as part of the Hart Family Sub-Plot in which Audrey grows up over-sexualized. The mention of her in Ep 7 seems to resolve that plot line.

I assume if she was abused, her hyper-sexuality could be the result of the same experience the NOLA male hooker has. That is, drugged, a party to or victim of sexual abuse, not clearly recalled, just in her subconscious. I would assume that drugs like that (ruffies, etc.?) would work at a different level upon different people, leaving some with more memory than others. Remember she also was caught drawing sexual pictures as well as the doll circle and the threesome.

If they tell us anything in Ep. 8, my guess is that the daughter witnessed one of the killings, but was not directly abused herself. If they go down that road, my next guess is that it's because her grandfather was/is involved in the activities.

Possibly she only viewed a video tape like the one from Tuttle's house. The scene with Maggie's parents is described as the only (to this point) 'throwaway' scene of the series. The only one that doesn't follow the narrative, give a clue, etc. I think that Marty's Father-In-Law plays a big part. My guess is that his name comes straight from the currently captive Sheriff and the info fuels Marty's (possibly, rage-filled, out of control) behavior in Ep. 8.
